SYTExperience's trip to Kalandula falls 2nd biggest waterfalls in Africa after the Victoria Falls.
We first crossed the Lucala River, to arrive to the top magnificent Kalandula Falls, then we followed our two local guides and went all the way down to contemplate them from bellow, Awesome.

First of all, I'm really sorry if I didn't do any posting for some time now. I know it's not a valid excuse, but I'm really busy preparing our trip to Thailand (That I promise I will share with you extensively).
But anyway, I could not leave without sharing something with you all...

Get ready, this was one of my favourite Travel Experiences in Angola so far...

Breathtaking Kalandula Falls (formerly Duque de Bragança Falls) - Malange - Angola On the Lucala River, the falls are 105 meters high (344 feet) and 400 meters wide (1312 feet). They are one of the largest waterfalls by volume in Africa.

The Lookal Restaurant in the Luanda Island is all about the seafood.

It is, without a shadow of doubt, the best restaurant I've been in Luanda.

As soon as you enter, simply the seafood scent it's addictive.

Do you see that Octopus Salad? That was my appetizer. Do you want to know what else I had?

I grew up hearing a lot of stories about the abundance of food, particularly of fruits in Angola. Some of my Angolan friends, especially a long time family friend called Matilde always dazzled me with stories of going out for a walk, or doing a picnic on the wild and not needing to take any food at all... She used to say: "wherever you go, there was always a tree, or some other kind of plant you can eat, or collect fruits from... Mangoes, pineapples, papayas, Avocados... everything was right there, provided by nature, for free..."
